Alan M. Cohen

Alan Cohen is President of the Fair Winds Group, and has provided business and technology consulting services to a diverse group of clients for more than 40 years. Fair Winds clients include Pfizer, American Radio Relay League, MDS International, H&C Tool Supply, 92nd Street Y, Mystic Seaport and a large number of small non-profit organizations that have received pro-bono services. He has served on the boards of many organizations including The Harley School, Horizons at Harley, Jewish Family Service of Rochester, Centro de la Communidad in New London, Connecticut and the Mystic Museum of Art. His contributions in the non-profit world have included development of strategic plans, identification of potential funders, grant writing, and technology planning and implementation.

He received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Rochester and an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology. He enjoys many hobbies including playing the piano, landscape painting, art glass creation, world travel, and golf. Alan, a Rochester native, lives in Pittsford with his wife, Nancy Bloom.
