Monica L. Hanks

Monica L. Hanks was born in Rochester to the late Maxsene B. Hanks and the late Donald Hanks.  She was raised on the Breedlove farm by her maternal grandparents, the late L.C. & Dorothy Breedlove, located in the Finger Lakes area in a small rural town called Dundee. She attended and graduated from Dundee Central High School and then SUNY Buffalo.  She obtained her Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Medaille College in 2017.  She has spent her career working in the social services field, with a focus on” At-Risk” youth between the ages of 16 – 24 years old.  She was able to provide this support through her tenor with agencies such as Threshold, Center for Youth, Iroquois Job Corps Center, Villa of Hope, Beyond the Sanctuary, and Baden Street Settlement. In her free time, Monica enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family & friends.
